Upgrade AAHC Patch¶

Pre-upgrade Consideration¶

Upgrading AAHC from v1.9.0 to v1.10.1 may fail if the directory /usr/share/aahc/rsyslog/current_syslogsrv is missing on the system. This directory is required for the upgrade process to complete successfully.

Before starting the upgrade from AAHC v1.9.0 to v1.10.1, perform the following steps:

1. Sign in to the AAHC server using SSH as the web-admin user.

2. Run the following command:

   change-rsyslogip
   

   This command restores the missing rsyslog configuration path required for the upgrade.

3. When prompted, the Syslog IP field is prepopulated with either:

   • The default value (127.0.0.1), or

   • The previously configured syslog IP address

   Accept the displayed value unless a change is required.

After completing these steps, proceed with the AAHC upgrade as documented.

Upgrade Steps¶

Before upgrading to a new version, ensure Logpoint is configured in AAHC.

1. Go to Applied Analytics in the Logpoint Help Center.

2. Click the AAHC patch that you want to install.

   Note

   Make sure the patch you are installing is compatible with your AAHC’s current version. Refer to AAHC Versions and Dependencies.

3. Download the ZIP file from the Download section.

4. Extract the ZIP file to obtain .pak file.

5. Copy the .pak file to the /home/web-admin directory of the AAHC server.

6. Run the following command to install the patch:

   install-patch aahc_vx.x.x.pak
